Residential Farmhouse Rural Utrecht
The threatening grey skies and surrounding farmlands and cornfields served as the inspiration of the designs. This former dairy farm in the rural area around Utrecht was transformed by Zecc Architects into a spectacular residential home. In our task to design the interior space, we translated the inspiration into the use of many natural colours and lively, distinctive materials, giving warmth to the inner space of the building. Each room has a different atmosphere without ever losing the overall cohesion, and the interaction between inside and outside is central, always bearing in mind showing the history of the building.

In our task to design the interior space, the threatening grey skies and surrounding farmlands and cornfields served as the inspiration.
